| Mr. Steven C. Phillips: Owner - Director - Instructor A 1973 graduate of the school he now owns, Mr. Phillips purchased the school in 1981 A successful salon owner for many years, Mr. Phillips has been involved in trade school education since 1975. Advanced training by the world masters including; Vidal Sassoon, Paul Mitchell and Jingles International has allowed Mr. Phillips to develop an excellent method of teaching hair cutting, styling, perming and hair color. Mrs. Gail Liberatore: Financial Aid Administrator Mrs. Liberatore has been on staff since early 1998 and brings a wealth of knowledge having served as a bank administrator for more than 10 years . Her intimate knowledge of the business world brings a new insight to the Phillips' staff. Mrs. Jamie Cusumano: Office Coordinator Mrs. Cusumano is a Phillips Graduate and is usually your first contact at the school. Having gone through the process she has first hand experience that will help guide you through your initial visits, interview and admission procedures. Ms. Penny Sawyer: Instructor - Coordinator Ms. Sawyer is a Phillips' Graduate and comes to us from Joseph Anthony's Salon in Shoppingtown Mall. She joined our staff in 1999. She has a well rounded background including styling, color as well as facial and waxing. She also assists Mr. Phillips with curriculum development and implementation. Mr. Donald Hill: Instructor Mr. Hill has been instructing at Phillips since 1992. He is the owner and Senior Stylist of the "Changing Times Salon". He has been a licensed Hairstylist since 1972. Mrs. Lisa Shostack: Instructor Mrs. Shostack has been an instructor at Phillips since 1995 and helped develop the "Nail Specialty" Course. She graduated from Phillips Hairstyling Institute in 1991 and worked as a Salon Stylist and Nail Technician. Ms. Sharon McMahon: Instructor Ms. McMahon has been an Instructor since 1985 when she taught at the Syracuse School Of Hair Design. Ms McMahon has been a member of our staff since 1999. Along with teaching Ms. McMahon also works in a full service salon which affords her insight into the trends and needs of the salon industry. Ms. Theresa Galloway: Instructor Ms. Galloway first joined our staff in 1995 and then left to raise a family. Ms. Galloway rejoined out staff in 2000 and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience from the business side of the beauty industry. In addition to working as a full time stylist Ms. Galloway also managed a beauty supply warehouse. Miss Sandy Hallberg - Instructor Miss. Hallberg has been a licensed Cosmetologist since 1965 and joined our staff in 2004. She owned and operated her own salon for a number of years before joining our staff. Ms. Deborah Weeks: Accountant Mrs. Weeks joined the Phillip' staff in 2005 when her predecessor retired after a 20 year career. She has an extensive accounting background and has managed all accounting functions. |
